SUNDERDANG GLACIER
Review:	This falls in the Nanda Devi region, having history of great personalities and mountaineers trekked through, they include Adolf and Robert Schlaginwent (1855). One o the Leading mountaineer Dr GT Longstaff (1950) and many more. However this is an expeditious trek awarded by the magnificent views of high, snow - capped Himalayan peaks and natural beauty.

Itinerary:	Delhi - Bhageshwar - Trek- Bhageshwar - Delhi

DAY 01.   ARRIVE DELHI                                                                                                      Morning arrive Delhi and transfer to hotel. Afternoon combined guided tour of Old and New Delhi includes Jammia Masjid Mosque, Cycle rickshaw ride through Chandni chowk, Red Fort, drive through India Gate and Parliament house. And finally explore Qutab Minar and Humayuns Tomb.

DAY 02.   DELHI – BAGESHWAR                       Drive 467 Km                                                  Early morning depart from Delhi, drive through crowded plains of Uttar Pradesh and gradually ascend to Kumaon region of the newly carved out (from UP) state of “Uttranchal” to Bageshwar. En route lunch at a way side restaurant. Arrive and check in at Rest house / hotel for overnight. 

DAY 03 to 09.   TREK                                                                                                               After a short drive of about 40 Km to Song, we begin short trek to Loharkhet (1752 Mt.) and camp here for overnight. Our next stage of trek will take us via Umla village to Khati (2210 Mt.), this is the largest village en route to Pindari at the confluence of Pindari and Sunderdhung rivers. From here we will further descend then easy ascend to Jatoli (2450 Mt.), and we may camp little further at Dugiadong subject to weather conditions. Now we move through a thick forest, beautiful alpine meadows and a snow bridge over the Sunderdhung river to Khatalia (3281 Mt.), an open grazing ground with few shepherd huts for two nights camp. On the next morning at Khatalia we will leave with our pack lunch to enjoy view of the surrounding glaciers, after about a 7 km trek we will be able to view the Sunderdhung (Sukhram glacier), which literally means the valley beautiful stones, it is located to the west of Pindari valley and has two glaciers Maiktoli and Sukhram. After enjoying the views of these glaciers, we return to our camp for overnight. Finally we trace back our trek to Jatoli, then on to Dhakuri (2690 Mt.). Our next stage of the trek is to Song, here we will meet our vehicular transport and drive on to Bageshwar. Arrive and check in at rest house / hotel for overnight  

DAY 10.   BAGESHWAR – DELHI                       Drive 467 Km                                                  After breakfast depart and drive back to Delhi. Lunch en route at a way side eatery. Arrive and check-in at hotel for overnight. 

DAY 11.   DEPARTURE                                                                                                        Transfer to airport for homeward flight.
