This is a complete trek and
combination of various elements from lands lands of Pokhra
region to the rocky heights by Muktinath and the trail goes

This is a well defined trade route, still being used by traders
between Nepal and Tibet, carrying their merchandise on Pony and
mules. On this trek we will explore also the Dhaulagiri Ice
falls and the facilities such as trekkers huts, tea houses and
villages are excellent. |

ANNAPURNA
SANCTUARY |
Review:
|
The sanctuary is below the chain of
11 Nepal’s main peaks thus provide spectacular view of these
missives. Few of them are:
Annapurna South (7,219 Mt.), Fang (7,647 Mt.), Annapurna I
(8,091 Mt.), Roc Nior (7,485 Mt.), Gangapurna (7,455 Mt.),
Annapurna III (7,556 Mt.) and many others. The best thing about
this trek is that without trekking through great height and
passes, you are at the base of some of the highest peaks of the
world. This is called sanctuary because of natural beauty and
the presence of goddess
Annapurna as well as
Gangapurna who have great importance in the Hindu mythology. The
meadows are gifted with vast variety of alpine flowers and the
height varies between 3500 Mt. to 4500 Mt. right from there one
could enjoy the panoramic view of the snow capped towering
peaks. The habitants of the villages of the region are Gurung,
living in the foothills of Pokhra area, mostly agriculturist and
shepherds. The men have served as soldiers in the British army
and Indian army has got a regiment of these men called Gorkha
regiment.
